Midwinter haiku

Midwinter warm spell

Midwinter warm spell,
Evening mist, tree frog calling,
“Cro-cro-cro-crocus!”

NOTES: Took a walk yesterday and heard a tree frog for the first time this winter.  It reminded me of this haiku from awhile back.
